Commons:Partnerships

Partnerships are supported by the efforts of GLAM, a Wikimedia initiative to reach out to galleries, libraries, archives, and museums to bring content to Wikimedia projects.

This page lists some informal or formal partnerships between affiliates of the Wikimedia Foundation and other groups/organisations that have resulted in substantial new collections being added to Commons.

If you are the copyright-holder or maintainer of a freely licensed media collection that you believe may be suited to Commons, we would like to hear from you. Please write to info-commons@wikimedia.org with a subject line such as "Wikimedia Commons collection donation".
